DR. M B PRABHU’S JOURNEY TOWARDS SUCCESS DEALING WITH THE ‘IMPOSSIBLE’ !
Dr M. B. Prabhu, himself previously a victim of cervical spondylosis, suffered a lot from severe pain all his early life despite trying all medicines until he attended a Chinese Acupuncture Camp. Within 10 days of starting acupuncture, for the first time in his life, he felt the ‘relief’ that he so much wished for!
It was this that prompted Mr. Prabhu to study Acupuncture to its depth to become the celebrity Dr. Prabhu as the world knows him today. He has always put to best use his technical knowledge and expertise to get spectacular results in the medical profession. He has not only modified the Acupuncturoscope and other equipments imported from China and changed their polarities and other features by using oscilloscopes but also put them to the best possible use in an innovative way in treating patients. According to him, this is the secret of his tremendous success in the field.
Acupuncture is his passion, eager to heal the patients from their sufferings, he treated his first case in 1986 and started his regular practice in 1989. However, since the general public in Goa and elsewhere in India had rarely heard about the practice of Acupuncture at that time, Dr Prabhu encountered a lot of initial resistance. “People could not comprehend that just a prick of a needle can cure the problem”, says Dr Prabhu.
Dr Prabhu then started with awareness campaigns. He travelled far and wide all over India delivering awareness talks on Acupuncture and simultaneously conducting free treatment camps and free consultancy services. He had to try very hard to bring awareness among the general public regarding this hitherto largely unknown technique of healing. After strenuous work finally, he was successful in making this technique quite popular.
His talks in Goa and neighbouring states on the topics “ACUPUNCTURE: THE ART OF HEALING” as well as “HOW TO KEEP YOURSELF HEALTHY” along with his free camps became quite popular.
Dr Prabhu points out that some disorders are generally labelled as ‘Incurable’ in the medical field. Generally for such disorders, doctors prescribe life-long medication, and they say it is just for temporary relief. The very label ‘Incurable’ freely used by some medical practitioners themselves starts negative thinking in patients’ minds. They take medicines on doctor’s advice, but deep inside their brain lingers the ‘futility’ of the whole exercise. This is what precisely makes their problem psychosomatic and literally incurable. When such patients come to Dr. Prabhu the first job that he does is to create a positive mindset among them by convincing them that such disorders are indeed ‘Curable’ citing examples of various cases successfully and effectively treated by him, with the help of video testimonies of such type of patients.
Dr Prabhu’s lectures on the importance of faith in the healing process have worked wonders! Dr . Prabhu emphasizes, “The disorders will vanish the way they came ! Think positively and everything is possible! ”. This miraculously changes the patients’ psychology and helps them not only get rid of their psychosomatic pain but also paves the way for effective healing!
