Dr Prabhu had been awarded with the special award “Doctor of Science” in 1996 in the International Congress of Medical Acupuncture. On 19 October, 1997, Dr Prabhu was awarded with a medal and Appreciation award for outstanding performance in The International Acupuncture Conference. This award was for discovering and presenting ‘Three new concepts in Five element Theory of Acupuncture’.
Dr Prabhu said that 5000 years old T.C.M. (Traditional Chinese medicine) five element theory which is most effective in diagnosis and treating the cases, was not enough to explain totally and so lot of difficulties which Acupuncture practitioners were facing in understanding the exact reason of the patients suffering with related to pulse diagnosis. So Dr Prabhu was doing lot of research in this and one fine night at 12 O’clock suddenly he got the clue and started writing on this. From this he derived three new concepts to simplify the five element Theory as follows (1) The Grandmother – Grand Chield Law, (2) New Yin five element & Yang five element Theory cycles separately, (3) Concept of sedating one Yang and one Yin organ of twelve, to balance whole Five element cycle i.e. Health.
Dr Prabhu further said that statistical survey research will be done on this concepts with the help of many experts practicing Acupuncture. And then he is interested in presenting this paper in International Conference to be held in Singapore.
Dr Prabhu have been invited for presenting and explaining these new theories in the Second World Congress on Acupuncture & Complementary healing systems to be held at Delhi by I.C.C.M. in Jan 98, under patrons Krishna Pal Singh (Governor of Gujarat), Dr Wilfred de Souza (Dy CM & Health Minister, Govt of Goa).

Ang, (2) Acu-Bekam by Dr Helena, (3) Sports Acupuncture, Bioenergetic Acupuncture & EAV on German Acupuncture by Dr Morias Dr Prabhu got this opportunity and he said this will help him very much in treating so called incurable disease.
